The owner of a house in Tonbridge Kent
would like the front of the house
painted this Summer. The work consists of
4 medium sized windows, facia & soffits.
The windows need a good scrape and
rub-down, a few loose, missing putties need
replacing and some wood filler applied. Prime
where the wood is bare. Two undercoats
and a top coat. The facia & soffits
only need scrapping down and a undercoat
and gloss finish.
Homeowners estimate| £500.
A large school would like the dining
room and 2 bathrooms and part of a
staircase painted. The walls need quiet a
lot of filling due to the heavy
traffic of the pupils. The ceilings are
white vinyl matt. No colour as yet have
been decided for the walls.
Contractor supplies all
plant and materials.
School Govenors estimate £1,000.

A client who lives in Berkhamsted Surrey
is looking for a good paper-hanger
to hang a patterned paper in two bedrooms
and a kitchen. The job is as
follows
Two feature walls (one to be
papered with a mural - with windows cut
out etc). Both good size walls, one
at 4.5m width, the other at nearly 7m
One bedroom to be painted but will
need a grey primer as will be a
dark colour on current pale paint.
Surfaces are excellent as new build Surfaces
are in good repair. The client has
soom materials but would like the decorator
to supply others.
